April McCabe is a Canadian born artist, now residing in Orange County, CA. She has a passion for the visual arts, education, and experiencing everything life has to offer. With over 5+ years of teaching experience in both the private lesson and classroom setting, it is her passion to continue to share what she loves!

I help each artist find their creative voice by experimenting with different mediums and building their skills with a broad range of mediums including acrylic paint, watercolor, drawings, etc.
Throughout a series of lessons, the artist’s will learn how to draw and paint from real life and translate what we see every day into beautiful pieces of artwork.
The artist’s will also get a chance to learn different styles of painting including but not limited to realism, abstract, and pointillism.
Each artist will continuously build on their knowledge of the basic elements and principles of art and design through both creating art, fun activities, and observation.
Along with creating art, there will be discussions on the history behind the techniques we are using, and re-known artist’s who influenced how we create art today.
Most importantly, we will build each artist's confidence in their work through positive reinforcement, because there is no “wrong way” to create art, only ways in which we can improve our skills and own our voice!
At the end of each year of lessons, each artist (or each group of artists) will have the opportunity to host an art show of their own! They will learn how to display their art, create a common theme between a few pieces, write an artist's statement, and have the chance to invite family and friends!
